You don’t need to be doing a shit ton of cardio either. You need to be strength training to get stronger. Cardio will make your heart stronger but you have over 600 other muscles that need you.

1) Scale – Women have a love-hate relationship with their scale. The truth is, the only need for the scale is to determine how much body fat makes up that number. The scale is not your friend otherwise and is a poor partner so you should break up with it ASAP.

2) Food – Women think that reducing calories will help them lose fat. Reducing calories below what your body requires is like shooting yourself in the foot before going on a hike. You need a certain amount of calories to feed your system and to feed your muscles for function and growth.

3) Exercise – Women think that doing tons of cardio, lifting light weights and showing up at the gym get them results. The only real results gotten from these practices are soft (not toned), smaller versions of a body that is not stronger and unable to function optimally.
